Description
A sterile, non-pyrogenic water preparation preserved with benzyl alcohol. The preservative is the entire distinction from preservative-free sterile water: it inhibits microbial growth in the vial between withdrawals, which is what permits a multiple-dose presentation rather than single use.
Used in laboratory work as a diluent for dissolving lyophilized material. Benzyl alcohol is incompatible with certain compounds and can interfere with some analytical methods, so compatibility should be confirmed before use.
Supplied at controlled room temperature; no cold chain required.
Supplied strictly for laboratory research use only. Not a drug, food, cosmetic, or medical device. Not for human or animal consumption, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Purchase confirms the buyer is a qualified researcher and accepts sole responsibility for lawful handling, storage, and disposal under all applicable regulations.
