Description
This compound corresponds to the full-length sequence of human growth hormone-releasing factor, modified by attachment of a trans-3-hexenoyl group to the N-terminal tyrosine residue. That hexenoyl addition is the point of the molecule: the unmodified 44-residue sequence degrades rapidly, and the acylation is a stabilizing structural feature, which is why the modified and unmodified forms are not interchangeable in assay work.
Investigated in in-vitro assays for GHRH receptor binding affinity and receptor-mediated signaling. No human data is presented, referenced, or implied.
Supplied as an acetate salt, lyophilized, for reconstitution in a laboratory setting. Lot-specific purity is stated on the certificate of analysis.
Supplied strictly for laboratory research use only. Not a drug, food, cosmetic, or medical device. Not for human or animal consumption, and not for diagnostic or therapeutic use. Purchase confirms the buyer is a qualified researcher and accepts sole responsibility for lawful handling, storage, and disposal under all applicable regulations.
