1.Eligibility
You must be at least 21 years of age to use this site or order products from AEY Labs. By placing an order, you confirm that you are 21 or older and that you are a qualified research professional purchasing for legitimate research purposes.
2.Research use only
All products sold by AEY Labs are intended strictly for laboratory and research use only. They are not for human consumption, medical use, diagnostic use, or therapeutic use of any kind. They are not approved by the U.S. Food and Drug Administration for any application other than research.
By purchasing from AEY Labs, you agree that:
- Products will be handled, stored, and used only by qualified research personnel in an appropriate laboratory setting
- Products will not be administered to or consumed by humans or animals outside of approved research contexts
- You assume full responsibility for the safe handling, storage, and disposal of products in accordance with applicable laws and laboratory safety standards
- You will comply with all federal, state, local and, where applicable, foreign laws governing the possession, import, use, and disposal of research compounds
You acknowledge that AEY Labs makes no representations regarding the suitability of any product for any purpose other than research, and accepts no liability for any use outside of research.
3.No medical claims
AEY Labs makes no claims regarding the safety, efficacy, or suitability of its products for treating, curing, preventing, or diagnosing any disease, condition, or symptom in humans or animals. Statements about products on this site describe their use in research contexts only and are not intended to suggest any human or animal application.
4.Scope of support
Consistent with the research-only designation of these compounds, we cannot discuss, advise on, or respond to enquiries regarding use, dosing, administration, preparation, or outcomes of any kind.
Support is limited to analytical and order matters: certificates of analysis, lot identification, specification and testing questions, shipping, and order issues. Product complaints are assessed against analytical specification only. If you believe a product is outside specification, contact us with your order number and the lot number from the vial.
5.Orders and pricing
All orders are subject to acceptance and product availability. We reserve the right to refuse or cancel any order at our discretion, including orders that appear fraudulent, violate these Terms, or cannot be fulfilled.
Prices are listed in US dollars and are subject to change without notice. The price applicable to your order is the price displayed at the time you complete checkout. Discount codes cannot be applied retroactively to a submitted order.
6.Payment
Payment is taken at checkout and must be received in full before an order is processed. Accepted payment methods are shown at checkout. Checkout is handled by a third-party payment provider; your card details are processed by that provider and are not stored by us.
7.Changes and cancellations
Because payment is taken at checkout, there is no unpaid window in which an order can be cancelled without a refund being issued.
If you need to change or cancel an order, contact support@aeylabs.org immediately. Where the order has not yet been dispatched we will normally be able to cancel and refund it. Once an order has been endorsed for dispatch, it cannot be modified or cancelled, and the delivery address cannot be changed.
You are responsible for providing a complete and accurate delivery address at checkout. AEY Labs is not liable for non-delivery resulting from an incorrect or incomplete address.
8.Shipping, delivery and what is covered
Shipping options, rates, and estimated delivery windows are shown at checkout and on our shipping page. Delivery estimates are provided by the carrier, are counted in business days from dispatch rather than from order placement, exclude time in customs clearance, and are not guaranteed.
What is covered
- Customs seizure, international line. Where an international-line order is seized by customs, we will reship it free of charge. We do not issue refunds on seized orders; the remedy is a replacement shipment.
- Our error. Where we ship the wrong item, the wrong quantity, or otherwise make an error on our part, we will correct it at our cost on either product line.
What is not covered
- Customs seizure, USA line shipped internationally. Not reshipped and not refunded. See section 9.
- Non-delivery without seizure. Where a package does not arrive and there is no seizure, we do not reship or refund. We will assist you in pursuing the carrier.
- Damage in transit. Breakage or damage caused by carrier handling is a claim against the carrier, not against AEY Labs.
- Incorrect address, refused delivery, or packages left uncollected at a carrier pickup point beyond the carrier’s hold period.
9.International orders, import and customs
Where you order for delivery outside the United States, you act as the importer of record for that shipment. You are responsible for ensuring that the compounds you order may lawfully be imported into your country and possessed there for laboratory research purposes.
Import rules for research chemicals differ substantially between countries and change over time. AEY Labs does not provide guidance on the import requirements, licensing regimes, or legal status of any compound in any specific jurisdiction, and nothing on this website should be treated as advice on that question. If you are uncertain, consult the customs authority or a qualified adviser in your own country before ordering.
USA-line orders shipped internationally. If an international shipment from our US facility is seized, detained, confiscated, returned to sender, or destroyed by customs or any other authority in the destination country, AEY Labs will not reship the order and will not issue a refund, in whole or in part. This applies regardless of the reason given by the authority and regardless of whether any notice is issued to you.
Seizures are uncommon. They are not, however, something we can prevent, insure against, or appeal on your behalf, and the risk of loss on such a shipment rests with the buyer. Where your order contains USA-line items you will be asked to confirm that you understand this before completing your order, and that confirmation is recorded.
If you are not willing to accept that risk, our international product line remains available and carries the reshipment terms set out in section 8.
Duties, VAT and GST
All orders are billed in United States dollars at checkout. Import VAT, GST, customs duty, brokerage charges, and any other fees assessed at clearance are determined by the destination country’s authorities and are payable by you in addition to the order total. AEY Labs does not collect these charges and cannot estimate them.
Where a shipment is refused, abandoned, or returned because import charges were not paid, the order is treated as undeliverable under section 8 and is not refunded.
Institutional buyers should supply an EORI, VAT, ABN, or equivalent registration number at checkout so that the customs entry is filed against the organisation rather than an individual.
10.Refunds
Where a refund is applicable under these Terms, it is issued to the original payment method. Shipping costs on orders that have already been dispatched are non-refundable.
Outside the circumstances set out in section 8, all sales are final.
11.Payment disputes and chargebacks
If there is a problem with your order, contact support@aeylabs.org with your order number before initiating any dispute with your bank or card issuer. Almost every issue is resolved faster by email.
Chargebacks initiated without first contacting us are treated as potential fraud events. Customers who initiate such a chargeback are added to our no-sell list and will not be able to order from AEY Labs in future. Initiating a chargeback does not remove your obligations under these Terms.
12.Intellectual property
All content on this website — including text, images, graphics, logos, and product descriptions — is the property of Stein81 LLC and is protected by copyright and trademark laws. You may not reproduce, distribute, or use any content from this site for commercial purposes without written permission.
13.Accounts
If you create an account, you are responsible for maintaining the confidentiality of your login credentials and for all activity that occurs under your account. Notify us immediately at support@aeylabs.org if you suspect any unauthorised use of your account.
14.Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law:
- Products are sold “as-is” for research use only, with no warranties of any kind, express or implied
- AEY Labs is not liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, or punitive damages arising from the use or misuse of any product purchased from this site
- AEY Labs’ total liability for any claim related to a purchase shall not exceed the amount paid for the specific product giving rise to the claim
- AEY Labs is not liable for any harm resulting from use of products outside of research contexts, including any use involving human or animal administration
Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability where it cannot lawfully be excluded or limited.
15.Indemnification
You agree to indemnify and hold harmless Stein81 LLC, its operators, employees, and affiliates from any claims, damages, losses, or expenses arising from your use or misuse of any product purchased from us, your violation of these Terms, or your violation of any applicable law, including any law governing the import or possession of research compounds in your jurisdiction.
16.Governing law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Florida, United States, without regard to conflict-of-law principles. Any disputes arising from these Terms or your use of this site shall be resolved in the state or federal courts located in Floruda, and you consent to the jurisdiction of those courts.
17.Changes to these Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. Material changes will be reflected on this page with an updated effective date. Continued use of the site after changes constitutes acceptance of the updated Terms.
