How to Pay with Bitcoin (Save 8%)

Paying with Bitcoin at AEY Labs gets you an automatic 8% discount at checkout. It’s the cheapest way to order, and this page walks you through exactly how to do it — even if you’ve never used Bitcoin before.

Why pay with Bitcoin?

  • Save 8% on every order — automatic discount at checkout, no code needed
  • Fast confirmation — orders process as soon as payment is confirmed on the blockchain
  • Private — no card networks involved

The two easiest apps for beginners

Option 1: Cash App (recommended for most people)

Cash App is the easiest choice if you don’t already own Bitcoin. Most Americans already have Cash App on their phone, and it lets you buy Bitcoin directly in the app and send it in a few taps.

How to pay with Cash App:

  1. Open Cash App on your phone
  2. Tap the Bitcoin (₿) tab at the bottom of the screen
  3. Tap Buy and purchase the amount you need for your order (add ~2% extra to cover Bitcoin’s price fluctuation while your payment processes)
  4. Once purchased, tap Send Bitcoin
  5. Choose Send to Address and paste the Bitcoin address shown at AEY Labs checkout
  6. Confirm the amount and send

Important notes for Cash App users:

  • First-time Bitcoin senders: Cash App requires identity verification (SSN, DOB, address) before you can send Bitcoin outside the app. This is a one-time setup that takes a few minutes.
  • New account limits: If your Cash App account is less than 30 days old, sending Bitcoin externally may be temporarily limited. Set this up before your order if possible.
  • Weekly limits: Cash App has weekly Bitcoin withdrawal limits (typically around $2,000/week for standard accounts). Most orders are well within this, but plan ahead for larger purchases.

Option 2: Trust Wallet (more flexibility)

Trust Wallet is a mobile crypto wallet that gives you full control of your Bitcoin. It’s the better choice if you already own Bitcoin or plan to use crypto regularly. Setup is slightly more involved but very safe.

How to pay with Trust Wallet:

  1. Download Trust Wallet from your phone’s app store
  2. Set up a new wallet (write down your recovery phrase somewhere safe — this is critical)
  3. Buy Bitcoin through Trust Wallet’s built-in buy feature (uses a third-party provider like MoonPay or Ramp)
  4. Once Bitcoin arrives in your wallet, tap Send
  5. Choose Bitcoin, then paste the address shown at AEY Labs checkout
  6. Confirm the amount and send

What to expect after paying

  1. You’ll see a Bitcoin address and QR code at checkout — either scan the QR with your app or copy/paste the address
  2. Send the exact amount shown (or slightly more — you won’t be charged extra if you overpay by a few dollars)
  3. Your order automatically confirms once the payment is detected on the blockchain — usually within 10-30 minutes
  4. You’ll receive an order confirmation email
  5. Your order enters processing and ships within 1-3 business days

Common questions

Do I need to be a crypto expert?
No. If you can send money on Cash App, you can pay in Bitcoin. It’s designed to be simple.

What if I send the wrong amount?
Bitcoin payments are shown in USD at checkout with the equivalent Bitcoin amount. If you send slightly less than required (e.g., due to a price drop while the payment processes), we may need to contact you for a small top-up. If you send slightly more, no problem — your order will still confirm.

How long does the payment take?
Bitcoin transactions typically confirm within 10-30 minutes. Some take longer during network congestion. Your order enters processing automatically once confirmation happens — no need for you to do anything after sending.

Is Bitcoin safe?
Bitcoin has been running continuously since 2009 with no protocol-level failures. The apps recommended above (Cash App, Trust Wallet) are trusted and widely used. As with any financial app, use a strong password and enable two-factor authentication.

Can I use another Bitcoin wallet?
Yes. Any wallet that supports Bitcoin will work — including Coinbase, Kraken, Ledger, Trezor, BlueWallet, and many others. The instructions above focus on Cash App and Trust Wallet because they’re the simplest for beginners.
